Cloning Posts and Pages is a super useful feature. No longer starting from scratch, you can use a previous Post or Page as a starting point instead. But did you know there are a lot of other things you can Clone as well?

What can you also Clone ?

There’s several other things you can also Clone but they are not enabled by default, these include:

  • Navigation Menus
  • Engaging Network Forms
  • Campaigns
  • Archives
  • Actions
  • Custom Search Results
  • Posts (Enabled by default)
  • Pages (Enabled by default)

Cloning Options

To make sure you can also duplicate these additional things, head over to Dashboard > Settings > Duplicate Post > Permissions

Here, you’ll find a list of all the Post Types. Simply check the ones you want the Cloning featured to be enabled for and hit Save Changes. The option to Duplicate these things will be available from then onwards!
