Hello hello! Many upgrades in this SPRINT; ElasticPress, WordPress and a PHP 8.3 test pipeline. A couple of other backend changes have also been made, and Bug Fixes to the Author Pages! Let’s go:

PLANET-7573 Upgrade ElasticPress to version 5.x
There have been some issues with ElasticPress. Until recently, version 3.2.x was being used on P4 sites, this has now been upgraded to version 5.x, bringing in a whole lot of improvements.
PLANET-7565 Upgrade to WordPress 6.6

PLANET-7556 Implement purchase dataLayer event for forms without redirect
After testing, it became clear that the purchase dataLayer event doesn’t fire as its supposed to. From now on, the dataLayer script will fire on the same page after card confirmation.
PLANET-7499 Backend Text Changes on Gallery Block
To make the behavior easier to understand for editors, the backend text in the Gallery Block has changed.
PLANET-7389 Add php 8.3 tests pipeline
Since P4 upgraded to PHP 8.1 earlier, it’s time to add PHP 8.3 tests pipeline to see if there could be any deprecation issues that need to be fixed.
