From time to time, you need to change certain things in Blog Posts or Pages. However, even though you’ve hit the “Update” button, the changes you’ve made are not visible on the site itself, for others to see. Let’s fix that!
Cache
The issue is known as cache. Which is a thing your Browser does to save certain aspects of pages to make sure you don’t have to load the entire webpage from scratch if you visit it again. So if you have already visited a certain URL, you get to see the version that was there before, and not the one you updated recently.
There is a way in Planet 4 to make sure all cache gets refreshed, to make sure that others will see the latest version of your webpage.
Clearing the P4 Cache
All you need to do is go to your Dashboard homepage and find the Planet 4 Control Panel. In there, you’ll see the option to Flush Object Cache and Check Object Cache. If you click on both of those, visitors will see the latest version of your webpage.
A good way to test if you’re suffering from Cache is to open the webpage in a private window or in a different Browser. You’ll always see the latest version in those cases.
