Good morning, good afternoon, good evening! A lot of bug fixes in this SPRINT, as well as the ability to track the usage of the Post List Block and the Action List Block, semantic HTML replacing generic code and more! Let’s go:

Features 🛠️

PLANET-7778  Posts/Actions List: add them to the blocks report

Recently, two Blocks were introduced: The Post List Block and the Actions List Block. Now, the option to admins to see where they are being used has been provided. This will allow admins to track their popularity.

Note: These two blocks are block variations of the Query Loop Block, so it may need some additional steps compared to traditional blocks.

  • Both blocks appear as distinct entries under the planet4-blocks
  • These entries are also available in the blocks_report API endpoint

PLANET-7720  Use semantic HTML to convey content meaning

Generic code elements like <div> and <span> got replaced with semantic landmark elements.

PLANET-7432  Reduce Typographic Weight of non-links on Post Lists Block

In the Post Lists Block, every Author’s Name text looked the same, even if it’s a link or just plain text. That has changed by reducing the weight on the Author’s name if there is no link.
