Need to change Categories or Tags from multiple Posts / Pages at the same time? You can!

Bulk Actions

First, go to your Posts in your Dashboard. Select all the Posts you want to change.

After that, go to “Bulk Actions” and select “Edit” in that dropdown menu. Click Apply.

Now, all the changes you’re going to make will apply to all the Posts that have been selected before. So you can change the Categories, Tags, Post Types, Author, Comments and more at the same time.

Make sure to click on “Update” to save your changes.

Important!

This will change your URL slugs! The redirection tool included in P4 should automatically create a redirection when something affects the existing permalinks. In case it doesn’t work: You can add redirects for those broken links (see more on that here) to make sure people still find your content.
