Features 🛠
PLANET-7291 – Replace Twitter icon with X
- Sadly, we have to say goodbye to Larry, the Twitter bird, on Planet 4. The icon for the social media platform has changed to its new brand: X.
PLANET-7285 – Align listing pages grid view with design system 🔑
- A while ago, there was a fresh new grid view template made for all the Listing Pages. That template is “masked” from a feature flag under Planet 4 > Features. Before the implementation of these grid/list view options for end users, the template needed to be aligned with the current design (see here).
- This is a KEY feature, meaning it is not enabled by default.
PLANET-7308 – Automatically create a News & Stories page
- The “News & Stories” page (practically a Posts listing page) is an integral part of the new Information Architecture. However, editors needed to take a couple of manual steps to create it. This process has now been automated.
PLANET-7275 – Update login button color to reflect new visual identity
- The login button for P4 was still in the old orange. That’s been updated to the new yellow to be in line with the new visual identity.

- The Handbook was in need of a big update. A challenge, to bring a dynamic, comprehensive, and up-to-date Planet 4 Handbook!

PLANET-7309 – Related Articles block missing from Posts
- And that has been fixed!
PLANET-7310 – Update the secondary buttons on the P4 Columns block, Tasks style on mobile devices
- And it’s been updated!
PLANET-7331 – Blocks report API times out
- And now it times in!
PLANET-7330 – Sorting manually the Actions does not work in Covers block
- And now it works!
PLANET-7326 – Carousel Header in a reusable block does not load Hammer
- And now it loads!
