Goeiemorgen! What a couple of weeks it has been. Welcoming a new team member, Gravity Forms 3.0, many bug fixes and some important updates for GA4 users. Let’s dive in.
Important Info for GA4 Users 📊
From 29 September to 4 October, the GA4 Global Analytics Property event limit was exceeded and the daily BigQuery export was paused. If your NRO relies on this export, the data from this time period must be manually exported. Mixpanel and individual GA4 accounts were not affected. Please review this notice for further information on the incident and next steps.

Say hi to @Negin Gholami (she/her), who just joined as a UX Research Intern to the Planet 4 team within the Engagement Systems!
Negin is based in Utrecht, NL, where she can be found listening to music, as she has a playlist for every occasion! Not only that, but music is part of her every day as she also naturally makes sound effects for almost everything she does. (if you sit next to her, notice if she does “whoosh” when she closes her laptop)
She recently finished her Master’s in Data-Driven Design, (Congrats Negin!!) and has worked in very interesting projects, among them analyzing menstrual cycles under a data-driven lens, and doing research for the rental bike service of the NS-Dutch Railways. Besides that, she has a background of graphic design and enjoys designing posters.

PLANET-8264 Add sidebar options for customizing meta tags
Editors can now override the meta tags (title and description) independently. Previously, the Open Graph/Social fields define the meta title and the Excerpt defines the meta description. That has now changed, and Editors are free to override the meta title and description
⚠️ The meta description serves a different purpose from Open Graph standards. It is intended for search engines, is typically around 120–160 characters, and should be written to encourage users to click on the page in search results, not as a summary of the article.
PLANET-8251 Upgrade Gravity Forms to 3.x
Gravity Forms 3.0.0 is here! And after testing (to make sure nothing would break), it has been released on all P4 sites. Check out their Changelog here.
PLANET-8241 Action List block accessibility: fix screen reader announcement for categories
The screen reader got confused by the Category labels on Action Cards, mistaking them for Headings. That has changed, as now screen readers will no longer call out categories on Action Cards.
PLANET-8210 News & Stories page: Show the Featured section only when no filter is selected
When Editors directed users towards filtered content in the News and Stories Page, the features news section was in the way, hindering the expected user journey. That has changed. From now on, the Featured section will only be shown when no filter is selected.
