A beautiful new Parallax smooth scrolling effect for Page Headers, share buttons for Gravity Forms, styling of the default Posts listing page and a bunch more new features, bug fixes and infrastructure improvements.
Features 🛠
- PLANET-6867 – Support File type on all forms
- When creating a Form in Gravity Forms, editors can now allow the upload of all file types (.pdf / .jpeg / .png, and more) up to a maximum of 10.
- Uploaded files will then be stored in
/admin.php?page=gf_entries&orderby=3&order=asc
- PLANET-6853 – Add a parallax effect to the Page Header pattern image
- The Page Header block pattern now allows a smoother scrolling experience via parallax.
- PLANET-6851 – Gravity Forms – Implement the admin settings for form share buttons
- When a user fills in a form, they’ll now have the option to share what they’ve just signed on WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter or via Email. The feature is enable in the Gravity Forms confirmation settings, where a custom share text / link can also be set up.
- PLANET-6527 – Style the default Posts listing page (MVP)
- In order to make the default Posts listing pages more attractive, there’s now the option to style your feed in the beautiful P4 design. A quick change in Settings > Reading and the default Posts page looks like this demo:
- PLANET-6908 – Remove slide animation from the Cookie Box
- In order to improve page speed, the animation of the Cookie Box has been removed.
- PLANET-6891 – Actions: enable the Open Graph metabox
- We love Metadata! So it’s only logical this feature for search and other social crawlers should also be available on Action pages, right? Open Graph everywhere!
- PLANET-6875 – Quick Links: Start from 9 items by default
- The “Quick Links” blocks feature will from now on start with 9 items. Decrease is of course still available, and the “stack on mobile” feature is now enabled by default.
- PLANET-6913 – Show primary buttons for Actions in search results
- In order to make Actions stand out on the search listing pages, the buttons have received the Primary Button design. This needs to be enabled in the backend: Planet 4 > Information Architecture > Action post type.
