PLANET-8154 GP Media alt-text accessibility adjustments
Every time an image is being imported through Greenpeace Media, 3 main metadata sources are used in the frontend. These are; alt-text, caption (shown under the image) and title tag (shown on hover). Adjustments have been made, keeping screen readers in mind. The changes are:
- Remove credit from the hover title and use only the title
- Remove credit from alt-text
- Use description for the alt-text instead of the title
- Keep caption intact (description & credit)
- Ensure caption is not being picked up by screen readers
PLANET-7940 Actions List block: UX fixes and adjustments
The Actions List Block received a couple of changes.
First, back-end changes! In the Grid layout: A maximum of 6 elements are displayed, instead of 5. As for the Carousel layout: Fixed items looked very thin when there were fewer than 3, so that has been fixed. The Block description itself also received an update. And so did the Manual Override description.
On the front-end: there used to be a small flicker when the “Load More” button was used, with fewer than 6 elements. That has been fixed, too.
