v2.86 – “Action”, “Home” and “High-level topic” Block Pattern Layouts | Listing pages available | Form type settings in Gravity Forms

Lots of IA & NAV improvements! Three new block pattern layouts (full-pages composed by P4 blocks and patterns), pagination to listing pages and the mandatory field to assign a form type in Gravity Forms!

• PLANET-6529 – Create the “Action” block pattern layout
  • The Action page shows a timely action-focused content such as petitions and events! Check all the block patterns layouts

• PLANET-6524 – Create the “Home” block pattern layout
  • The “Home” page provides curated content that highlights the most important information on the website. Check all the block patterns layouts

• PLANET-6737 – Create the “High-level topic” block pattern layout
  • The “High-level topic” will replace the current “Issues” page, to show the whole picture about a high-level topic. Check all the block patterns layouts

• PLANET-6569 – Create a setting for specifying form type for each form
  • Forms creators must assign each form a type (petition, signup, etc) to track how different forms are performing, so the first setting is a mandatory dropdown to select the Form Types. Check this Miro board for a full list of all types and “Build a form in Gravity forms” to master the full commands.

• PLANET-6724 – Listing pages: implement UI design to pagination
  • Auto-generated listing pages (Author, Post type, Category, Tag) now have numbers listing all the pages, instead of the “Load More” button

⚠️ This feature is not enabled by default. In a dev. site, go to Settings > Planet 4 > Information Architecture and tick “Listing page pagination”
