Great authors make great stories for Greenpeace websites in more than 20 languages. It’s time to give these folks credits for their work. By providing an Author page, linked from the post or pages they write, all content produced in P4 will be pulled out in their author page. Here’s an example.

Also, Facebook Instant Articles have been enabled in the P4 settings, the #Tag page is easier to customize and the most popular #Tag KPI is simpler to pull out.

Release v1.28 (11/09/2018)

  • PLANET 2368 and PLANET 2441 – Create Author profile page and enable link to profile page
    • All links to posts and page authors’ names now point to their respective profile pages, which will pull out Author’s Name, Profile Picture (aka Avatar), bio and all posts they created.
    • It’s important that all Authors have their profiles updated, check how to edit your P4 / WP profile, bio and avatar!
The Design of the new Author’s page. Name, Picture and bio are manually customizable, whereas posts and pages by this author are dynamically pulled out
  • PLANET 2430 –Tag page: fix UI
    • The #Tag pages User Interface was not so user-friendly, so we reworked the Edit Mode, making it hopefully easier to determine which page types will be pulled out
The new #tag Page Edit mode
  • PLANET 2554 – Submenu: ‘Back to top’ in Default template (bug fix!)
    • The “Back to top” button in the Block: submenu was breaking when used in Default template pages, works perfectly now!
  • PLANET 2602 – Post: Image gallery style  (bug fix!)
    • There was an unnecessary big space after image galleries in Posts, not anymore.
  • PLANET 2606 – Enable the correct plugin-blocks report  (bug fix!)
    • We are now able to pull out which pages use which block! This functionality is really useful when we changes to block plugins are done, so that we know which pages should be updated… ( == COMING SOON, THE NEW ‘COLUMN BLOCK’ ==)
  • PLANET 2607 – FB Instant Articles: Enable
    • Facebook instant articles could not be enabled via Google Tag manager (GTM), therefore we had to add a placeholder below the <head> of all P4 sites.
    • Instructions on how to connect Facebook to  your P4 site at >> Set up the P4 Settings
Connection to FB articles must be done both in the Planet 4 Settings and in FB Publishing Tools
