Say Goodbye to Gravatar and Hello to GPSA! Many changes in SPRINT v2.107 such as changes in the mechanism for the “Global Project” Analytics Field, profile pictures from Planet 4 profiles now take the Google Account image, new layer of data scripts in Gravity Forms for Donation Pages and much more. Here we go.
Features 🛠
PLANET-7176 – Add GPSA into the footer country selector
- We’re welcoming GPSA into the Footer of all Planet 4 websites 🥳
PLANET-7131 – Change the sync mechanism for Global Project Standards (Analytics Field)
- The Sync Mechanism for the Global Project Standars has been replaced. Used to display the dropdown values in the “Global Project” Analytics Field in the backend for Posts and Pages. In the past, there was a connection however: That hasn’t been working anymore. So, the automated process has changed to a manual one, where Global Campaign Teams can request a value to be added to the official list.
PLANET-7105 – Automatically fire data layer script on GF donation confirmation Pages
- The Gravity Forms / Google Analytics plugin didn’t work for Forms with “Donation” as a form type. It used to be the case that, once a user completed a donation on Stripe, they would be redirected to a P4 Thank You page, as there was no standard GFTrackEvent or FormSubmission event present. This has been added.
PLANET-7180 – Integrate Profile pictures from Google profile
- Goodbye Gravatar! From now on, the profile pictures of Post Authors will be the same as their Greenpeace Google account profile picture. Read more on editing your P4 Profile here.
