Buen día! Hubspot pages under P4 Domain and Path was an idea submitted by the Community, and now it’s here! Additionally, there’s been some accessibility improvements to the Carousel Header, Navigation has been optimised through Database Queries, and more. Let’s go!
Features 🛠️
PLANET-8165 Serve Hubspot pages under P4 domain and path
💡 An idea submitted by the P4 Community!
Some NROs are building their petition pages in HubSpot instead of directly on their website. This means that if a visitor clicks a petition link on the Greenpeace website, they’re actually sent to a completely different website (a HubSpot act URL). That can feel a bit jarring because visitors suddenly see a different domain in their browser.
In short: The goal is to make it look like visitors never left the Greenpeace website, by keeping the URL the same.

PLANET-8025 Optimize Database Queries: Navigation menus
A look and investigation into what’s happening behind the scenes when a P4 website loads its navigation menu. Now, after finding the parts that are slowing it down, the Devs made them faster where possible, and are keeping track of the ones that can’t be improved (yet).
PLANET-8005 Carousel header accessibility: On mobile prevent the current slide announcements on auto-play
During mobile testing with VoiceOver it became clear that as the carousel auto-rotates, VoiceOver announces “current slide” on each change. This caused interruption for users who are somewhere else on the page and makes it feel like they are being pulled back to the carousel.
The fix: Stop the announcements on automatic slide changes and stop autoplay when users interact with the carousel.
PLANET-8195 Greenpeace Media: Allow Authors to import new media files
Authors should be able to import new media files from Greenpeace Media as they already have permission to upload new files. So now, the Greenpeace Media option is available in the sidebar for Authors, and they are allowed to use the Greenpeace Media functionality.
PLANET-8173 Carousel header accessibility: Fix off-Screen Focus on mobile
On mobile, when a user navigated through the Carousel Header, the focus moves to the off-screen slides, and the screen reader announces the content of these hidden slides. That’s not ideal, so now: Off-screen slides will not receive focus, and focus will only move through the visible content.
