The field guide and the dev-notes have been checked, and WordPress 7.0.2 is now on all Planet 4 sites! At its core, the improvements to WordPress include 24 accessibility enhancements and bug fixes. Here is a summary of some interesting changes:

PLANET-8046 Forms accessibility: on submission focus should not move at the top of the pageStories
Previously, the focus after submitting a subscribe form did a reset and moved back to the top of the page. Not good, so that has been fixed! The focus now stays on the confirmation message after the form submission, and screen reader will read out the confirmation message.
PLANET-7915 Planet 4 Columns: enable image upload directly from Greenpeace Media
It was not possible for editors to upload images directly from Greenpeace Media, through the Images Style Block of the Planet 4 Columns Block. That has been fixed, as the same panel options as in other blocks have been added.
